A trip to Port Douglas is not complete without a visit to the Pristine Mossman Gorge – nestled in the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest.
Travel in the air conditioned comfort and style of our 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, with all the elegance of a bygone era, to experience an ancient rainforest… and on the return journey consider visiting a very current and innovative tropical fruit winery, or make a day of it touring a working Cocoa and Sugar Cane Farm.
Our Mossman Gorge tour includes:-
– Pick up from and return to your Port Douglas accommodation (at a time that suits you)
– A beautiful journey through the local countryside featuring sugar cane fields and cane trains, with the majestic mountain backdrop.
– Morning or afternoon tea at the Mossman Gorge Centre – a new Indigenous eco tourism development where you can peruse the Art Gallery and gift shop.
– Exploring the Gorge on the rainforest walk, map supplied. Includes entry. Swimming is an option for strong swimmers.

*Another option you may wish to consider for experiencing the Gorge is the Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk, conducted by the local Indigenous people. Ngadiku (Nar-di-gul) means stories and legends from a long time ago in local Kuku Yalanji language. The guided walk takes visitors on a journey along private, gentle tracks, visiting special places and culturally significant sites, past traditional bark shelters and over meandering cool rainforest streams. This will incur an extra charge per person of $55.
Let us know at the time of booking if you wish to do this, as we need to arrange with the Gorge Management in advance to include you in this small group activity.
